Anne Burrell

Anne W. Burrell (born on 25th August 1949) is an American TV chef personality. She also was a former instructor of the Institute of Culinary Education. She is the host of Food Network's Secrets of a Restaurant Chef and also serves as co-hosting Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, with her famous spiky blonde hair and an energised persona on Food Network's Secrets of a Restaurant Cook series, provides straightforward and simple techniques for home cooks. Chef Burrell was employed in New York at top restaurants and studied the Italian culinary traditions and geography. Additionally, she competed as Iron Chef America on Food Network. Early on, while growing up in New York's Upstate region, Burrell became passionate about food and cooking. The Culinary Institute of America was the next step following her graduation with the Bachelor of Arts in English as well as Communications at Canisius College Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America is a wonderful learning experience. It was impossible to take enough enjoyment from it. Following her graduation, Chef Burrell spent a time in Italy studying at the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners while working at La Taverna del Lupo in Umbria as well as La Bottega del 30 a one-Michelin star restaurant in Tuscany. In her time in Italy she came to appreciate and understand the philosophy of Italian food and culture that made a lasting impression from a culinary viewpoint. Burrell is a member of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board that helps brighten the lives of struggling children. She also is an Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation's Celebrity Advocate where she promotes awareness of juvenile diabetics. She talks about her culinary passion and shares her expertise in the culinary world, as she regularly is in the United States for the roles of mentors and speakers. Anne, throughout her entire culinary journey has stated that it's an honor to be in a position to share her passion for the food industry with people.

Genesis Rodriguez was born in Miami. She is the daughter of Jose Luis "El Puma" Rodriguez the famous Venezuelan actor and singer, and Carolina Perez (a Cuban model).
